About the programme
Attunement into Now — Anda Kal Canda Kal in Turkish — is an introductory programme for anyone taking their first step into Nonviolent Communication. The Turkish name holds two invitations at the heart of NVC: stay in the present moment (anda kal) and stay connected to life (canda kal).
Across 36 hours you learn the core skills of Nonviolent Communication through both theory and a great deal of practice, in a supportive group. The programme runs online or in person.
Who is it for?
Anyone can join — no prior knowledge of NVC is needed. If any of these sound like you, this programme was built for you:
- You want to communicate better in your relationships, at home, at work or among friends
- You are looking for a different approach to conflict and disagreement
- You want to express your own feelings and needs more clearly
- You want to put empathy into genuine practice
- You have heard of Nonviolent Communication, you are curious, and you do not know where to begin
What the programme covers
Step by step, you explore and practise these core skills:
- The four steps: observation, feeling, need, request — the basic framework of NVC
- What blocks communication — noticing the habits that cut connection
- The capacity for empathy — meeting yourself and others with empathy
- The capacity for honest expression — clear, sincere, without judgment
- Ways of saying “no” and “yes” — boundaries and consent
- Building common ground — finding solutions from shared needs
…and more. Every topic is grounded in real-life examples and live practice.
